There is no doubt that Niseko is the snowiest resort in the world. With seasonal snowfalls averaging over 16 metres in recent years, Niseko has become a place of legend amongst the global ski and snowboard world.
The perfectly fluffy, powdery snow creates a magical environment both on and off mountain, and once the tap turns on it just seems to keep falling, until some time in March. There never seems to be a question of will it snow but rather will it stop?
November 11, and we had our first heavy snowfall which has transformed the resort into a winter paradise. As the resort prepares for open day on the 23rd of November, the real question is where will you be skiing this winter?
